Mayflower Elementary Parent Teacher Association

The PTA at Mayflower Elementary School school plays a vital role in the success of our students. Through the support of our community we are able to strengthen the foundation that our children benefit from every day at school. 

The PTA’s primary function is to build strong relationships among parents, teachers and schools in support of students. To enhance this effort the Mayflower PTA raises funds for several enrichment programs including assemblies, after school enrichment classes, library and teacher supplies, technology and much more.  Some PTA-sponsored events and programs include Red Ribbon Week, WatchDOGS, the Reflections art contest, Book Fair, Camp Mayflower, Staff Appreciation Week, and our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Funds for these programs are raised through the Walk-a-Thon, Fall Fundraiser, Straight Donation Campaign and the annual Parent Auction.  To keep you up-to-date on all of these exciting activities, PTA volunteers coordinate posts to our PTA Facebook page, copy flyers for green folders, and create messages on our new (PTA funded) digital marquee.

Every voice is valued - and there are many opportunities for you to be a part of the PTA and to help enhance the learning experience of Mayflower children. The PTA meets monthly (the first Monday of each month); we encourage you to attend a meeting and learn about what’s going on. You can also talk with your teacher to find out how you can help in the classroom.  Sign up to chair a sub-committee or bring desserts to support staff appreciation week. Every level of help is appreciated. We 

are here to help all our students SAIL!
