Behavior Expectations
 
Students are expected to come to school prepared to learn every day. Students are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect and follow the behavior expectations listed in the behavior matrix.
 
  • Cell phones and all personal electronic devices shall remain OFF and in student backpacks during all school hours. 
  • Toys, games, and personal sports equipment are prohibited at school.
  • Safe play at school is required at all times- no play-fighting, fighting, name calling, teasing, foul language, or bullying will be tolerated at any time.
  • Please follow the positive behavior expectations posted in each school area. (See behavior expectations chart on the next page.)
 
Mayflower celebrates and honors students who show academic and behavioral growth and achievement.  Monthly award assemblies are held during the Monday morning announcement.  Students may also earn incentives for appropriate behavior at school.
